Miranda Lambert's music video to her song Automatic

Miranda Lambert’s music video to the song Automatic, has a message to the video, by her singeing about how things us to be before they became automatic. The shots in the music video started out with Miranda going upstairs into an attic, and the shots flipped back and forth with close up views of her playing a guitar on a porch swing. Also, shots of her opening an old trunk and taking out an old caste tape and a old caste tape player and then played the tape, and other things were taken out of the trunk through out the music video. Some other shots in the music video were of wide views of her getting into an old truck and driving through the countryside. When the shots of her looking out the truck window showed shots of what looks like an old video being played of things what were in the past before they be came automatic. Also, worm colors were used in the video, like neutrally colors in the attic scene to give a worm and inviting felling to the viewers, and the sun sine through the windows. Other shot of worm colors were used in the scene of her driving in the truck as well. Besides the visual shots of the music video, the most important part is the works that Miranda sings.

Miranda didn’t start sing in till 20 secants into the music video where she started out sing about how things used to be, like quarters in a payphone, and watching sun tea in the window. She started out sing soft when she sang about how things were back then, like whatever happened to waiting your turn and doing it all by hand. After her singing softly the music picked up after she sang, how things seam good back before things became automatic. Also, she sang about how people used to wright a letter and put a stamp on it and then they would get it three days later, then she would sing again, “Hey what ever happened to waiting your turn
doing it all by hand, cause when everything is handed to you
it's only worth as much as the time put in
it all just seems so good the way we had it
back before everything became automatic,” this would be the main pitch in her message, in her song Automatic. Which meant by asking the viewers what happened to the time when doing it by hand meant more than just getting things automatic. At the end of the song she sings about lets get back to doing things by hand, by sing, “let's roll the windows down
windows with the cranks
come on let's take a picture
the kind you got to shake,” this also meant by slowing down and enjoying the things we do have.

  1. The biggest visual element missing from this summary are the lens flares. The flares are a big part of the music video look and concept. You did a good job paying attention to the props, color and timing. Please check your spelling before posting.
