The idea I have for a documentary video tacks place at Lawrence Productions in Kalamazoo Michigan, where a senior editor/ motion graphics designer edits raw film for local companies. The video would include shots of the building, inside the building, hales inside, and the edits office where the interview would take place. Also, shots could be taken of the sound mans office, and the shots of the editor working on editing film. I think this could be a cool documentary video to shot because it shows viewers what it could be like if pursuing a career in editing.
An idea I have for a music video is creating a country music
video. It would be shot at a farm, an orchard, field, and with some farm
equipment. I think it would be nice to use a girl or a guy to represent the
singer, and to have extra people to go along with the song. The song could be
on the lines of a romantic love story, or a song about being country. It would
be cool to have close up shot of someone playing a guitar, or someone
pretending to play a guitar. I think this would be a fun music video to shot
because of getting the chance to shot in the country and all the different
shots that could be used, and different ideas from other people to create a fun
lively country music video.
These are all good foundations for projects. The Kalamazoo doc would be an interesting behind the scenes look at post production but could be a difficult group project because of the location. Your music video has a theme and look based around the locations. This can be an excellent starting point. Your narrative could use a little more description of the impact that the box has on people. Is it good or bad? Is it the same for everyone? Does it only have impact if it is open? Even though this is not a paper, spelling and grammar are still important.
